Josie Brantner was also named State Senior Athlete of the Year, and Laine Brantner was named State Coach of the Year. Additionally, all 6 team members finished in the top 10!

The Oak Grove girls’ golf team leads the Class B state meet by 28 strokes after the first day. Action resumes at 9:30 this morning.
The Grovers had a great Monday, despite the wind gusts. All six Oak Grove players are in the top 13 on the leader board — Ellie Zuger in second with an 80; Josie Geiger (81) in third; Lauren Holstad and Josie Brantner in tie for fourth at 83; Claire Lee (86) tied for 10th; and Sylvie Brantner (87) tied for 13th.
Even the tournament leader has an Oak Grove connection. Laila Christianson from Des Lacs-Burlington shot a 77. She is a first cousin to Oak Grove students Rachel Christianson and Katie Christianson.
